Qualification:

University Degree essential



Skills & Experience:

Experience with data management, the design of data models and good SQL coding and tuning skills.

The ability to automate data management tasks and ETL processes using SSIS.

Experience with report design and deployment using Microsoft solutions including dynamic Excel, SharePoint and PowerPivot.

Experience developing SharePoint sites advantageous.

Experience managing BI projects and communicating priorities and timelines.

Proficiency with multi-dimensional SSAS, SSRS and MDX.



Job Description:

Work systematically with large amounts of data primarily in Microsoft SQL Server but also in Oracle databases with a focus on transforming the source data into useful data models and ultimately information.

Routinely and reliably making data available to the front-end team for further analysis and interpretation.

Systematically source and integrate external data into the reporting and analysis SQL Server databases.

Take initiative to identify and automate elements of routine reporting where possible.

Create technical specification documents and design processes and data flow diagrams in Visio.

Develop key indicators and multidimensional summaries to facilitate the assessment of interventions.

Liaise with clinical and IT staff and management to ensure that necessary data is identified, where necessary procured, quality assured and integrated into the reporting systems.

Assist with the management of SQL Jobs and the organization of objects in SQL Server databases.
