DUTIES:
  • Under the guidance of the BI and Data Architects designs and develops BI solutions, including but not limited to, reports, dashboards and scorecards, leveraging customer information demand with back-end data warehouse capabilities.
  • Design and construct SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) dimensional models and cubes.  Develop routines to build cubes from an ORACLE Data Warehouse star-schema.
 
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Must have a good understanding of Ralph Kimball BI project methodology.
  • In depth knowledge of BI environments, solutions and implementations required.
  • Star Schemas: Facts & Dimensions
  • Business Intelligence concepts
  • Business Intelligence environments: end-to-end architecture
  • Business Intelligence technologies: SSRS 2012, SQL, MDX
  • Business Intelligence trends
  • BI / analytical tools: SSRS 2012, SQL, MDX, COGNOS beneficial
  • Report design standards
  • Cube design and development: SSAS 2008, MDX
  • Good communication skills.
