To support the growth of its business, our client is now recruiting a: Business Intelligence Developer (mid to senior level)

Primary Functions

*Development and maintenance of proprietary or 3rd party business applications
*Development including database design
*Document existing business processes and develop and document new business processes
*Deliver billable Business Intelligence consulting services to clients.
*Work closely with the team and client’s team, ensure relevant design,technical deployment, development and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions, in customer environment.
*From time to time conduct training sessions for customers
*Contribute to the company’s Knowledge Base to improve the company’s offering, products and performance.
*Expected to learn new skills at a rapid pace.
*Keep users informed of progress through effective communication
*Work on multiple projects at the same time
*Provide application support to business users
*Effective stakeholder management - Keep management, users and developers informed of progress through effective communication and management of expectations.

Candidate Requirements

*A graduate with majors in either Information Systems or Computer Science
*At least 3 years experience in IT / Business Intelligence.
*Strong Knowledge of Relational Databases and Multilevel join query design.
*Strong Knowledge of developing SQL Server Stored Procedures and SQL Server Table and Scalar valued Functions.
*Knowledge of major BI products, Microsoft BI Suite, Crystal Report, Jaspersoft essential, Oracle Hyperion Essbase and others a plus.
*Knowledge of ETL tools appreciated.
*Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Concepts Passionate about data and strong Business Sense
*At least 3 years’ experience in technical problem solving and software development
*Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening skills
*Proven stakeholder management capability
*Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:•Data Analytics tools in a financial services environment, including master data or static data management
*Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence (Integration, Analysis and Reporting Services)
*Microsoft Power BI, QlikView, Jaspersoft, SAP (advantage)
*Preference will be given to candidates with financial background and experience
*Business Process Analysis & Design (preferable)
