Design, Deploy & support business excellence report solutions,

Examine and evaluate purpose and content of business reports to develop new or improve existing format use and control,

Review reports to determine basic characteristics such as origin and report flow, format frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report,

Confer with persons originating, handling, processing or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements,

Evaluate findings using knowledge of workflow operating practices and records retention schedules,

Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information,

Prepare and issue instructions concerning generation, completion and distribution of reports according to new or updated practices, procedures or policies of reports management,

Provide hands on day to day technical support for all customers with regards to reporting issues and solutions,

Liaise with relevant service providers for continuing product support,

Advising product management on suitable amendments to third party products,

Assist with setting up lab environments according to customer / tender specifications,

Assist with testing and documenting customer specific reporting,

Maintain effective report deployment testing strategy,

Provide basic training internal and external on core reporting solutions used in-house.

The successful incumbent will be in possession of the following qualifications and skills:

A completed tertiary qualification preferably in the IT Systems & Support Environment coupled with further courses i.e. A +, N+, MCDBA, MCSE etc.

3 to 5 years experience in database maintenance & support,  Microsoft SQL server,  SQL Report writing and Scripting,   

Extensive programming experience

Sharepoint experience and SQL report writing essential,

Ability to work independently and work under pressure,

Willing to travel locally and internationally on a regular basis
