Overview.
Plan, implement, and hand back to business projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. Actively support and participate in change management initiatives, ensuring that approved projects are executed timeously.

Duties & Responsibilities:-
Identification of projects
Drive project selection and approval
Completes Black Belt projects as assigned, with limited levels of direction and support by leading teams in the application of Lean and Six Sigma tools to solve business problems.
Leads and delivers large, complex Process Excellence projects/initiatives following Lean Six Sigma methods and concepts.
Develops projects through the DMAIC or Kaizen methodology (whichever best benefits the business), while considering potential project risks.
Contributes to the identification of projects that meet strategic objectives.
Monitors complex monthly Process Excellence performance metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.
Displays continuously the characteristics of a change leader in the organization.
Facilitates meetings with management to review and examine project progress.
Ensures all financial models are properly approved by FP&A.
Develops and trains site Blue Belts, Green Belts, management and their respective teams utilizing lean, continuous improvement, project management and business integration tools and concepts.
Work with Change Manager and also analyse risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), and establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and mitigating actions……… etc.

Minimum Requirements:-
B.Com Hons
7 to 8 plus years of professional work experience
PM or Six Sigma certification, MBB preferred
Strong Project Management experience
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint – required) (Power Steering, Minitab and Access – advantageous)
Solid performance track record
Travel flexibility
Subject matter expert in a core business segment or functional area

Benefits:-

This is a permanent position – in a large international company – with offices in the Midrand area, and the salary negotiable depending on experience, around R900K – R1M.
