Minimum Qualification
• Applicants must be in possession of a Matric (Grade 12) Certificate or Equivalent
• Applicants should be able to read and write English
• Applicants must have the Technical ability to complete any required Training
• Trade Boilermaker Certificate
• N3 Qualification – Boilermaker
Skills
• Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act
• Crusher plant maintenance experience essential
• 3 years’ experience on maintenance and repairs of mobile and fixed crushing plant equipment. Preferably in a mining environment.
Key Performance Areas
• To execute maintenance schedules and repairs to fixed and mobile plant to support the achievement of the required equipment reliability and availability targets
• Execute maintenance schedules
• Repair, modify and fabricate equipment
• Supervise maintenance assistants and outsourced contractors who assist with repairs
• Ensure safe work practices
• Repair or replace defective pressure vessels parts
