RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced BOOKKEEPER (T/B) for a well-established concern – position based in Amanzimtoti area.


PERSON MUST RESIDE IN THE AMANZIMTOTI OR SURROUNDING AREAS.


REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Relevant bookkeeping qualification/s.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle ESSENTIAL!
3yrs+ previous experience as a Bookkeeper.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Pastel / Pastel Payroll experience ESSENTIAL!
Person must have experience with Forex invoicing and adjusting for loss/profit on Forex (approximately 10 – 20 invoices per month).
Payroll on Pastel including Bargaining Council module and keeping track of employee loans/deductions on a monthly basis.
Supplier invoices.
Receipting debtor’s payments (mostly monthly except for cross border payments which have various terms from COD to fortnightly).
Allocating bank statement downloads.
Ensuring intercompany transfers are processed and invoiced.
Ensuring all documentation pertaining to payments are available to be reconciled.
Creditors schedules for payment on a monthly basis.
Raising purchase orders.
Reconciliation of tolls for the month.
Reconciliation of use of truck stops on a weekly basis.
Prepare the necessary files for VAT and PAYE submissions.
Workman’s Compensation returns.
Reconciliations of Independent Contractors.
Maintaining asset register.
Preparing cash flows when necessary.
Budget management and control.
Licencing renewals.
Files for financials/management accounts.
Accounting for trusts and personal files.

Salary package offered: - R10 000-00 – R12 000-00 per month (CTC) (depending on previous experience).
