BOOKKEEPER TO TRIAL BALANCE

7000pm to 9000pm (dependent on experience)

A leading FMCG company, based in Rosebank, is looking for a Bookkeeper to Trial Balance to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be proactive, well organized, mature and driven to succeed in a fast paced environment. Key requirements for this position include meeting deadlines, attention to detail, good organizational skills, good written and communication skills, good understanding of inventory, excellent numeracy skills, ability to multitask and the ability to work under pressure. In addition to that the person must be able to get optimal compliance from the company’s outsourced agents, suppliers and couriers.

This person will be responsible in assisting the Accounts Manager with basic day to day bookkeeping functions, the procurement of stock and managing of stock (on the company’s premises and in outsourced warehouses) as well as the delivery of all orders to clients, directly from the premises or indirectly through the warehouses. Therefore, the successful candidate must also be able to follow up on the delivery of orders from a client service perspective.

Qualification, Experience and Skillset required:

Minimum of a Grade 12 qualification
3 years Bookkeeping to Trial Balance experience essential (relevant qualification in bookkeeping will be an advantage)
Good knowledge of Pastel , Excel, Word & Outlook
Must have experience working on Pastel
Must be able to work independently
Team player with good stress tolerance
Must be flexible with an open mind to find solutions and overcome challenges
