Office Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage reception area and looks after visitors
- Supervising cleaning staff to make sure the office and warehouse is cleaned sufficiently
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Do daily bookkeeping tasks and compile monthly financial pack to give to management
- Keep track of office supplies and order stock when necessary
- Submit weekly reports timeously with all required notes
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Make use of stock prediction software to ensure the warehouse always carries adequate levels of stock
- Maintain the warehouse setup to ensure efficient space utilization
- Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contribute to these
- Assist with stock takes to ensure inventory quantities are accurate on the system
- Ensure data between the branch and head office is synched on a daily basis
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office administrator or relevant role
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and able to work with limited supervision
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Pastel
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
