This well-established international company based near Gateway Mall Umhlanga is looking for a stalwart Bookkeeper to join their team.

Duties will include:
To report to the Chief Financial Officer and to give regular feedback to management.
Assist CFO with preparation of monthly management accounts.
Assist with administrative tasks.
Credit control, monthly reconciliations and collection of debts.
Leave management.
Liaise with SARS Customs office and Clearing Agent.
Maintain a diary for recurring matters.
Maintain a Fixed Assets Register.
Maintain a system for filing and retention of records.
Perform Bookkeeping duties from prime entry using Sage Pastel Partner Accounting.
Prepare Forex payments to international suppliers.
Prepare journal entries.
Prepare VAT201 returns with supporting documents for approval by accountants.
Prepare working papers and schedules for external auditor.
Process Cash books and bank reconciliations for local and CFC accounts.
Process Customer invoicing, statements and credit control - local and foreign.
Process Inventory, stock levels, valuations and movements.
Process local supplier payments.
Process Supplier invoices, statements and credit control – local and foreign.
Process credit applications.
Reconciliation of Customers, Suppliers and Inventory control accounts.

Qualifications
Progress towards an Accounting Diploma or Degree
Proficient in MS Office.
Proficient in Sage Pastel Accounting Software.

Working Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Remuneration
Negotiable depending on previous experience
