Bookkeeper
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Full function Bookkeeping
· Processing of all debtors invoices on daily basis.
· Reconciliation and follow up of all debtors accounts.
· Weekly reporting of debtors account to credit manager.
· Capturing of all supplier invoices and reconciliation of all supplier accounts.
· Capturing and reconciliation of all petty cash expenses monthly.
· Capturing and reconciliation of bank statements on weekly and monthly basis.
· Maintaining all fixed assets schedules on a monthly basis including the processing of the monthly journals.
· Processing of various other journals including salaries & wages journals as required from financial manager.
· Completing of all credit applications.
· Handling and corresponding with all insurance claims.
· Compiling of the annual financial year-end audit file including journals.
· Ad hoc Bookkeeping matters.
· Importing the monthly trial balance into the company’s financial reporting system.
· Compiling the monthly VAT reconciliation and VAT201 report for checking by the financial manager.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years bookkeeping & administrative experience.
· Relevant bookkeeping qualification definite advantage.
· Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
· Good planning, organizing and execution skills.
· Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.
· Stress and time management skills.
· Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills. Planning, organising and controlling skills.

· Respectful, honest and trustworthy.
Salary is R15 500
