Description
The Bookkeeper position encompasses maintaining monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations, capturing and monitoring recurring customer compliance and credit checks, tax query resolutions, reporting to SARB, Stats SA and CIPC and other ad hoc duties as required.
Reports To:
• Management Accountant
Typical Competencies Required:
• Matric with Accounting HG
• Advanced bookkeeping diploma / Bachelor’s Degree
• At least five years’ experience in full function accounting to Balance Sheet
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and BaaN / SAP
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent organisation and administration skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Own transport
• Code 8 drivers licence
