BPC Consultant – (6 month contract)

Area: 1) Cape Town
2) Gauteng

Salary: R350 – R750 p.h (6 Month Contract)

Job Purpose
• As a consultant you will be accountable for:
• Consulting, researching and involvement in the Pre-Sales Process
• Project work within BPC Solution projects nationally and internationally
• Conducting thorough analysis of business processes
• Prepare solution design specifications and configuration documentation
• Installing and configuring the solution being implemented
• Performing unit, scenario and integration testing
• Compiling training manuals and conducting end user training
• System architecture design and quality assurance of a solution implementation
• Leadership of a team of people

Requirements:
• We are seeking highly motivated individuals with the following requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, BComm Accounts and/or Informatics or related field
• 3-5 years work experience preferable
• Knowledge of BPC, Cognos TM1, Hyperion or other multidimensional reporting tools preferable
• Proactive and independent and also form part of a winning team
• Excellent communication skills required to interact with internal and external customers and management at all levels
• Sound knowledge of business process analysis and solution architecture
• The ability to generate professional and appropriate documentation
• Planning and organisational skills are essential in order to prioritise work
• Must be willing to travel both nationally and internationally as required
• Very good problem solving and analytical skills

Duties (overview):
• Compile and deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers
• Conduct business process analysis, interpretation and definition
• Implementation and quality assurance of generic and client specific business processes using BPC
• Integration design to other systems within a solution architecture
• Manage and be responsible for tasks and deliverables during the lifecycle of an implementation
