We are looking for candidates with sales experience to be part of a company that offers you a career, and not just a job!

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

• Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs
• Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service
• Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
• Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computers
• Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
• Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers
• Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
• Keeps management informed by submitting daily sales reports, weekly work plans
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Liaise with other stakeholders to ensure adherence to business policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Credit clear, Criminal clear, REDS clear
• At least 6 months experience working in a retail sales environment
• Previous sales experience, knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
• A tertiary qualification would be advantageous
