Our client is based in Epping Industria Cape Town and requires the services of an experienced Branch Manager, The company is a leading manufacturer of quality vehicle exhausts, towbars, bullbars, cattle rails, tubes, conduits and other products.
The Branch Manager is responsible for all sales related activities, warehousing & distribution of Company products. The goal is to maintain and improve the existing relationship and identify potential new business opportunities with the customers in his/her region
Scope of the job
The Branch Manager manages the full relationship between the Division and customers in his/her region. He/she is engaged in a variety of tasks including sales, project management, coordination, strategic planning, budget planning, relationship management, warehousing, distribution, negotiation and the exploitation and development of opportunities
Key areas of responsibilities and accountability
• Manage customers and the established relationship with the aim of total customer satisfaction
• Marketing of product (ie shows/ events)
• Analyse sales trends, figures and volumes in the market
• Product pricing & costing
• Build a good network at all levels up to top management
• Provide commercial and technical expertise through high-quality sales presentations
• Search for and find new project opportunities as well as develop business with customers using both current and potential future products
• Work as a coordinating interface between the Division and customers and support the implementation of specific tasks or projects
• Manage warehouse, administration and distribution departments & staff
• Interact with other Branch Managers and Sales & Marketing Manager to potentially co-ordinate or support on specific tasks or projects
Qualification
o B.Com Marketing Degree/ similar
Experience:
• At least 5-8 years experience in a similar MANAGEMENT position in the Automotive or Industrial MANUFACTURING environment.
This position reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Excellent remuneration package is on offer.
