KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

¬ DIRECT ALL OPERATIONAL ASPECTS INCLUDING DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS, CUSTOMER SERVICE, HUMAN RESOURCES, ADMINISTRATION AND SALES;
¬ DEVELOP CLEAR AND EFFECTIVE WRITTEN PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS FOR CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS;
¬ LOCATE AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT AND PROPOSE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS THAT MEET CHALLENGES AND LEVERAGE GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES;
¬ ENSURE REVENUE AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GOALS ARE MET;
¬ ASSESS LOCAL MARKET CONDITIONS AND IDENTIFY CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE SALES OPPORTUNITIES;
¬ DEVELOP FORECASTS, FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES AND BUSINESS PLANS;
¬ ANALYZE VARIANCES; INITIATING CORRECTIVE ACTIONS;
¬ IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES THAT INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY AND ENABLE SALES TARGETS ACHIEVEMENT;
¬ SUPPLY MANAGEMENT WITH ORAL AND WRITTEN REPORTS ON CUSTOMER NEEDS, PROBLEMS, INTERESTS, COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES AND POTENTIAL FOR NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES;
¬ ONGOING SALES CALLS AND KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

¬ DIPLOMA OR DEGREE IN MARKETING / SALES AND MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION OR RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE ADVANTAGEOUS.
¬ AT LEAST 6-8 YEARS SALES EXPERIENCE IN THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INDUSTRY (ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND IS CRITICAL).
¬ PROVEN BRANCH MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
REQUIRED:

¬ WELL-DEVELOPED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN THE BRANCH MANAGEMENT.
¬ COMPUTER LITERACY (MICROSOFT PACKAGE, WORD AND EXCEL).
¬ SOUND KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF LABOUR LEGISLATION.
¬ KNOWLEDGE OF HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT ACTS AND ISO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE.
