The key functions and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Increase profitability of service business
• Increase service market share through identification/development of new business as well as optimizing existing business;
• Management, support and development (identify training requirements) of all staff;
• Recruitment and appointment of new staff;
• Assessments and ongoing development of staff;
• Financial Control:
o Compiling of annual Budgets & Forecasts (Capex, Turnover, Margins & Overheads)
o Monitoring and controlling of overhead expenditure, profit margins and N/A Labour.
o Ensuring that budgeted turnover targets are achieved and exceeded;
o WIP; (Work in Progress)
o Debtors;
o Creditors
• Monthly financial review of financial results and presentation of next level in key figures;
• Marketing of our business (unit sales and contracting) and brand;
• Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently.
• Support the Service development in Africa in best suitable manner.
Technical Effort Management
• Promote and coordinate technical knowledge harvested within the organization.
• Define, communicate and enforce standards.
• Track and identify new opportunities to improve our methodology and training.
• Assist in strategic sales efforts.
• Consistently deliver high-quality service to our clients.
Technical Expertise
• Possess significant knowledge of:
o Products and assist in establishing standards nationally.

Organizational Responsibilities

Internal Operations
• Review status reports of staff and address issues as appropriate.
• Enforce standard policies and procedures.
Office administration
• Ensuring that all quotations are done as per COMPANY standards and as per agreed margins.
• Ensuring that all procurement is done in accordance with the ERP system requirements.
• Ensuring that all job files are maintained as per COMPANY standards.
• Ensuring that all WIP is kept up to date and as per COMPANY standards.
• Ensuring that all invoicing is done in accordance with ERP system and on time.
• Ensuring that all payments (debtors and creditors) are collected / made in accordance with agreed payment terms.
• Ensuring that all aspects of human resource management is implemented and managed – leave, sick leave, social welfare, office facilities, employment contracts, etc.
• Ensure that all local banking, leases, expense sheets, etc. are maintained and managed.
• Ensuring that all overheads are managed and documented as per COMPANY standards.

Industrial Service
• Develop market through building customer relations (existing clients) and new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain branch facilities to support service business.
• Ensure that technicians receive adequate training and expose to Group know how.
• Employ and ensure adequate training for new technicians in area.
• Ensure that technicians have correct tools to perform work.
• Develop expansion plan for development in Bloemfontein & Kimberley and surrounding areas.
• Promote sales through regular marketing initiatives and customer events.


Transport Service
• Develop market through building customer relations (existing clients) and new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain branch facilities to support service business.
• Employ and ensure adequate training for new technicians in region – to suit growth.
• Ensure that technicians have correct tools to perform work.
• Develop expansion plan for development in Bloemfontein & Kimberley and surrounding areas.
• Promote sales through regular marketing initiatives and customer events.

Transport Unit Sales (rebuilt units)
• Develop market through building customer relations and new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain branch facilities to support business.
• Manage sales in area, together with ZAF sales team.
• Manage pricing levels in region and currency deviations.
• Promote sales through regular marketing initiatives and customer events.
• Develop expansion plan for TK in region.

Industrial Projects
• Develop market through building customer relations and new opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication / support from ZAF engineering / sales personnel.
• Manage sales in area, together with ZAF sales team.
• Manage pricing levels in region and currency deviations.
• Promote sales through regular marketing initiatives and customer events.
• Develop jobbing market and personnel to support it in region.

General
In addition to the above, you will be required to travel extensively in the area to ensure that all existing clients are serviced adequately and that all prospective business is realized. Regular travel to COMPANY management meetings will also be expected.
You will be responsible (together with management from ZAF) for the development, tracking and realisation of budgets, consisting of: turn-over, overheads, margins, contribution and EBIT. This will be required every quarter for submission to the board and should be managed on an ongoing basis.
The successful applicant should be computer literate and have a valid driver’s license
