A Group is looking for a Branch Manager for WINDHOEK, Namibia

Responsibilities Operational

• Control the implementation of sales and commercial policy in the branch, according to the established procedures;
• Promote, motivate, coordinate and direct the activities of the region, to deliver on the objectives of client satisfaction;
• Coordinate the development and execution of all works, optimize the work-groups, tools and means to meet the objectives of invoicing, activity, yield and quality of the works;
• Organize and control the supervision of New Installations and Mordenisation jobs;
• Manage daily sales business operations to achieve sales budget;
• Participate / supporting the regional sales consultants by performing direct sales actions when necessary in selected projects to secure and closure;
• Conduct weekly / monthly meetings with sales consultants to review action implementation and target achievement

Process

• Analyze root causes for deviations and set up corrective actions;
• Ensure target achievement, actions implementation and follow-up and develop corrective actions;
• Control the application of the safety and health guidelines in house and on site;
• Enforce systematic sales management practices with processes and tools applied;
• Ensure the correct New Installations and Mordenisation sales and booking processes are adhere to.

People

• Coordinate labor relations in agreements with the effective labour norms and process in line with local legislation;
• Perform development reviews and performance appraisals for all staff, to identify development needs;
• Actively develop staff to perform at their best and achieve regional objectives (quality, efficiency, customer orientation etc.);
• Develop the technical expertise of technicians.

Financial

• Authorize first level pricing escalation;
• Review pricing decisions and ensure discount decisions in line budget and strategy;
• Control region expenses, optimize the management of purchases and stocks in accordance with company policies;
• Apply the companies financial policies to all Branch activities according to the established procedures and guidelines;
• Providing feedback on project profitability to line management.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
? Engineering/business management Diploma or Degree.
? 4-5 years experience.
? Technical background preferably in the engineering field.
? Sales experience will be an advantage
