Our corporate client has an urgent vacancy for a Branch Manager at their Polokwane Branch. To start asap
Must reside in Polokwane
Candidate must reside in Polokwane
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage
Fully computer literate
Knowledge of SYSPRO an advantage
Must have Fluid Control experience (with Irrigation, Pumps, Valves and Pipes and Fittings) preferably as well as experience in Steel
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a Managerial position / managing a Branch – essential
Basic salary negoitable depending on experience and qualifications

You will manage staff, control branch debtors, ensure proper stock management, and foster a positive environment within the branch so as to ensure customer satisfaction and hence a successful branch operation.
You will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Responsibilities
Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Meet goals and metrics
Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
Proven experience in management and a strong sales background is essential
Must have a strong financial and administrative background
Budgeting and targets for sales and expenses (monthly and annual forecasts)
Control stock levels within the branch
This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry
Must be computer literate on Syspro
MS Office proficiency required
Matric and a completed tertiary qualifications would be beneficial
