An opportunity exists for a candidate with solid General Management skills, retail management experience, a sales track record and advanced product knowledge in the Steel industry

Minimum Requirements
Matric and a Retail Management Diploma will be an advantage
8 Years + experience in selling steel products Solid retail management experience
3 to 5 Years’ experience in managing steel sales for a reputable group
General Management skills - Budgeting and financial control
Valid driver’s license
Computer literate (advanced skills on Excel)
Stable work record and have contactable references

Duties and responsibilities
Performance management of sales employees –
Understanding of retail processes and procedures - Solid leadership skills - Training of sub-ordinates Advanced knowledge of a variety of steel and allied products.
Marketing of local products
Knowledge of the steel market
Day to day running of the business
Budget experience essential
A flair for sales and strategic planning
Reporting on Stats
Please note you will be required to work retail hours(Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30 as well as alternative Saturdays and Public Holidays from 8am to 1pm.
