Brand Consultant – Radio

Location: Rivonia, JHB
Salary: Market Related plus benefits

About the Role:
To grow the radio station’s national share of revenue under indexed clients & agencies

Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in Media Sales
Proven track record of sales performance and achievement of revenue targets
Established industry/advertiser network

Duties:
Prioritizing radio station as a core solution to advertisers seeking to connect with its audiences
Exceed sales revenue budgets and / or grow ahead of the market
Identify with the aspirations and traits of the Afropolitan market and actively evangelize these both within the sales house and externally
Grow revenue on a designated portfolio of advertising clients and agencies
Actively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities across all platforms
Actively develop and deepen relationships within the portfolio – advertiser, advertising agencies, media agencies, activation agencies, sponsorship teams etc
Initiate, develop and present tailored solutions to the identified advertiser set
Actively engage all available data points/touchpoints/information platforms to ensure solutions and market conversations remain relevant and impactful
Consistent use of CRM and other sales and management-based systems to track progress, highlight challenges and offer the relevant support and couching
