Purpose of the role:
Brand managers are responsible for ensuring that the brands they represent resonate with current and potential customers. This involves monitoring of marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace. They also regularly meet with clients and senior management, and they oversee a team of junior marketers such as merchandisers and social media administrators. Working under marketing managers or CMOs, brand managers serve as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for their particular brand. These initiatives and activities include campaigns (print, web, social media, broadcast, etc.), events, corporate responsibility programs and sponsorships. Brand Managers are responsible for more than executing marketing campaigns; they are also in charge of managing and developing P&L and driving market growth. This will form part of KPIs which we will establish. Brand Managers will communicate all delivery dates of the brands, marketing initiatives whether directly from the brand or developed at the company to all marketing & sales people. This would include samples, catalogues and info for the loading of the brand info onto the B2B software such as Brandboom or NetSuite.

• Monitor Market Trends
• Manage the direction of Social Media
• Interpretation of All Brands direction from strategy
• All CI met & executed
• Develop marketing approach and correct channels
• Social media strategy
• Plan & deploy all direct to consumer outlets, SIS, events, POP stores & branded retail
• All packaging and POS direction & implementation
• Set each brands correct marketing calendar aligned to sales objectives
• Brief, manage & monitor designers
• All promotions and events
• Communication of brands instore strategy to merchandising team
• Develop, execute and manage marketing initiatives including (print, web, social media, broadcast, etc.), events, corporate responsibility programs and sponsorships.
• Conducting interviews with candidates
• Communicate & Aid PR & Social Media direction
• Communicate Delivery Dates to all Staff
• Communicate Marketing Initiatives
• Organisation of catalogues, samples & all brand info onto systems
Requirements:
• This person needs to be awesome at sales
• Minimum 2-3 years Brand Management experience
• NON Smoker
