Job Description

This leading and professional company is seeking a dynamic and leading type person to maintain the process of improving, and upholding a brand so that the name is associated with positive results. Brand management involves a number of important aspects such as cost, customer satisfaction, in-store presentation, and competition. Brand management is built on a marketing foundation, but focuses directly on the brand and how that brand can remain favorable to customers. Proper brand management can result in higher sales of not only one product, but on other products associated with that brand.  

The company is looking for a driven, organised and dynamic individual for the role of Consumer Brand Manager. The core purpose of the role is to formulate and execute innovative consumer brand plans and marketing programs and it’s media programs for the dermal institute of SA – in line with the marketing strategy and financial objectives

Minimum Requirements

- BA Degree or Diploma in Marketing /Brand Management or IMM Certification
- 3-4 years ATL and BTL strategic planning experience
- Digital marketing experience

Duties & Responsibilities

CONSISTENT MARKETING CALENDAR EXECUTION
- Execute a comprehensive through the line strategy and execution of the annual marketing calendar including new product launches and value propositions.
-Generate excitement and breakthrough in a competitive market place with best practice brand plans
-Engaging with existing consumers and actively recruiting new consumers and build brand equity amongst a broad target market with a pull-strategy into the professional channel.
-Conducting market research and benchmarking of target markets and conceiving and coordinating marketing campaigns alongside consumer partners
-Working closely with the rest of the marketing team and other company departments to ensure a coordinated approach to marketing campaigns

REDUCE EXPENSES AND IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND ROI
-Ensuring profitability and financial growth is achieved in line with projected sales growth.
-Understand parameters of the marketing budget
-Manage all marketing activities within the specified budget
-Ensure timeous management and documentation of payments
-Ensure accurate and timeous reporting of all spend within the budgets

-Drive efficiency through improved productivity (self and junior brand manager)
-Day-to-day management and coaching of the junior brand manager
-Oversee and sign-off execution of all marketing programs, brand plans and activations throughout all distribution channels

BRAND ACTIVATIONS
-Guide, manage and oversee the execution of the below the line activations plan supporting the marketing strategy and calendar.
-Ensure all b2c events are aligned with the and long and short term marketing strategy
-Create strategic brand partnerships

ACHIEVE DATE BASE GROWTH THROUGH A CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION SRATEGY
-Amplify our communication strategy with focus on customer reviews and testimonials
-Ensure all marketing activities are accurately and timely loaded onto CRM
-Setting and management of objectives and tracking performance on the CRM platform
-Facilitate and manage accurate and timely information input from all stakeholders CRM

DIGITAL COMMERCE
- Work with the agency to streamline and optimise digital activity and community management
- Create consistency on all social media platforms
- Proactive content schedule planned
- Online monitoring and engagement
- Develop powerful online value proposition

STORE SPACES
- Plan, manage and execute the concept space marketing and promotional programme
- Promote and position these brand destinations to effectively drive feet into these doors and increase retail sales and treatments booked
- Ensure optimum brand representation, core-concept execution and merchandising at all times
- Manage and account for all products and other elements utilised in marketing activities
- Adhere to brand guidelines, planograms and national marketing focus for the period
