BRAND MANAGER (FMCG + PHARMA) - Bryanston
THERAPEUTIC SKIN CARE - PRESCRIPTION AND SELF-MED

Must have a track record in both consumer and pharma industries (not just OTC for example) - must be an EXPERIENCED Brand Manager (not a trainee position)

Report to the Marketing Manager
Therapeutic Skincare Portfolio (global strategies)
Prescription and Self-Med
Deal with Key Pharmacy Retailers, IHS, Key Opinion Leaders, 3rd Party Research Companies

REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years in brand management (fmcg and pharmaceutical otc - both essential)
- Prev experience in therapeutic skincare highly beneficial
- Track record to show success of a Branch Launch
- Manage the annual brand plan
- Prepare assigned product line objectives for the 3 year LTP (long term plan)
- Campaigns
- Finance
- Sales Support
- Ensure accelerated growth by implementing global strategies and management of allocated investment resources

TERTIARY
* Matric
* Tertiary in business, science, marketing or relevant degree

OTHER
* Valid current driving licence essential
* Good command of the English language

REQUIRED PRE REQUISITES FOR THIS POSITIONS AND SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific, technical information and market data and use this to provide comprehensive Brand plans to drive sales.
Ability to write comprehensive and effective briefing documents for Agencies and Media
Fundamental understanding of budget management and financial analyses
Fundamental understanding of commercial innovation and identifying product opportunities and solutions to drive commercial gain
defining and understanding the target group and developing relevant actionable target group insights
Building and managing customer relationships to achieve measurable business growth and results
Understands how to implement effective planograms, shelf visibility and in-store promotions in pharmacy
Demonstrate sales target development and contribute to the development of the annual sales target
Ability to evaluate promotional effectiveness – post campaign analysis and measure ROI
Ability to effectively present information to management, public, doctors or sales forces in oral and written form in an impactful way
Consistently applies knowledge of all ethics and Marketing Code compliance guidelines
