My client based in Umhlanga who business consists of several business units across the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Entertainment and Value Added Services industry is seeking an above average Brand Manager. Position would suit a male applicant with a tech savvy background. The VAS portfolio products are quite technical in terms of usability etc. (PLEASE SEE LIST OF PRODUCTS AT THE END OF THIS ADVERT)

Purpose of the role:
Maintain relationships with Senior Management and provide link between allocated Business Unit/ Senior Management and Communications department and creative’s. Manage and co-ordinate assigned brand work. Create and manage strategic communications for allocated brands. Manage allocated brand budget.

Key performance areas:
• Manage allocated brand portfolio including internal and external brand communication
• Develop, implement and manage communications plans and budget for each brand
• Sourcing and submission of budget and critical paths
• Issuing briefs, managing 3rd party suppliers
• Pro-actively sourcing and presenting opportunities
• Presenting ROI and forecasting
• Relationship management with Senior Management and 3rd party suppliers
• Relationship management on a brand level: internal and external target markets where relevant
• Quality control

Qualification:
Min 3 Year Degree/ Diploma in Marketing/ Brand Management or similar

Experience:
1. Min 3-4 years marketing/ PR/ advertising account executive experience with brand management in an agency/ similar environment
2. Previous Telecommunication and/ or E-commerce experience advantageous
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Digital Marketing experience

• Planning campaign roll-out including critical path and deadline scheduling
