Description
This position will assist and support the marketing manager and team in upholding the reputation of a highly successful asset management brand. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, good written and verbal communications skills, demonstrate the ability to think strategically and demonstrate a solid understanding of brands and communication.

Qualifications
? A suitable undergraduate degree
? A minimum of 2 years’ experience in brand management.
? No financial services experience is required

Main responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

? Brand strategy: Work with the advertising agency to ensure brand integrity and consistency. Make decisions in line with brand values and brand personality.
Above the line advertising: Compile creative briefs. Provide input on creative campaigns. Ensure advertising agency deadlines are met. Evaluate proposed concepts and creative against briefs.

? Media: Compile media briefs. Manage media flow plan. Liaise with the media agency to implement media flow plan. Check media tear sheets. Review and secure approval of material.

? Below the line collateral: Compile briefs. Manage design changes across brochures in conjunction with agency. Liaise with the content team for new brochure signoff. Implement content changes and drive approvals. Manage corporate brochure orders and distribution to regional offices and other relevant internal stakeholders. Manage stock levels.

? Corporate stationery: Compile briefs for new stationery elements. Manage quarterly stationery orders and manage distribution. Manage information changes / artwork updates to current stationery elements. Manage business card orders, approval process and distribution. Create new / replace old signage on request for the various Allan Gray offices.

? Internal branding: Compile briefs. Ensure effective communication with various internal business functions. Manage orders and distribution of branded clothing and staff stationery collateral. Manage new designs from creative conceptual stage through to production.

? Administration: Take responsibility for checking and record keeping of CEs and invoices and get them signed off timeously. Respond to advertising and sponsorship requests.

? Supplier management: Liaise with our advertising and fulfilment agencies on jobs. Maintain a healthy working relationship with all suppliers. Understand agency structure and adhere to agency’s way of working.

? Events: Support the distribution team with marketing collateral. Support the events team with marketing collateral.

Skills/Competencies and experience
? Good understanding of and intuitive feel for advertising
? Demonstrate a basic understanding of media principles and channels
? Good interpersonal skills
? Strong attention to detail and great level of accuracy
? Ability to think strategically
? Possess good judgement
? Good written and verbal communications skills
? Good project management skills
