My Client based in Johannesburg is looking to employ a Brand Manager.

Purpose of Role:

The Brand Manager will be responsible for designing the divisions marketing strategy for approval by the Marketing Manager and business owners, and ensure the implementation of the strategy in order to ensure the brand is effectively communicated to achieve revenue and business targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To compile and implement the brand/product plans in line with the annual marketing strategy and objectives.

• To maximise the profit potential of the portfolio by identifying additional opportunities.

• To produce performance reports to show progress against the brand/product plans.

• To drive and coordinate activity across relevant inter-departmental functions to ensure effective communication and execution of the brand/product plan/strategy. 

• To manage supplier and partner relationships to successfully deliver the brand/product plan/strategy

• To research destinations and product information as well as competitor offerings/activities and facilitate the required content requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Essential); 
• 3 years relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing (Essential)
• Basic HTML & IT qualification (Desirable)
• 3 year’s experience in Brand Management or Product Management (Essential) 
• Of which one year digital and social media marketing experience (Essential) 
• Experience with managing online reputation management (Essential)
• Project management (Desirable)
• 2 year’s experience in Travel and Tourism industry (Desirable)
