Brand & Marketing Consultant

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Must have relevant completed qualification in marketing

Experience Requirements:
3 – 5 Years’ experience within a marketing / brand awareness role
The candidate must be strong in English writing skills and be well spoken
Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook etc.
Own transport

Responsibilities:
Building brands and gaining strong business exposure
Planning and implementing marketing efforts for group brands, with specific focus on building brands advertising, promotions, electronic media (web and social), launches, online advertising
Brand custodian for all elements of the Brand, maintaining brand standards
Working with graphic designer & printing team
Gaining consumer and market insights through customer feedback and competitor activity
Ensure business/marketing objectives are met
Analysing sales data to initiate and execute promotional interventions
Timeline management, budget management and program/project analysis
Close collaboration with other departments, such as operations, to consult on package and product relative to branding
Writing proposals and creative briefs
Reporting back to the director with regular stats feedback on efforts and what is working or not working in terms of marketing efforts
General Admin

Three-month probation
Salary is R10 000 – R15 000 gross p/ m / CTC
Hours: Mon – Thurs 8am – 4:30pm & Friday 8am – 3pm
