Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is looking to employ a Brazing Engineer

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant formal qualification or trade
• 3-5 years' experience in similar field in the automotive industry
• Experience in Brazing Aluminum
• Driver's license
• Good communication skills
• Ability to function as part of a team
• Be able to work under pressure

Duties:

• Participation in Brazing Team activities
• In cooperation with APU performing tests for technology improvements
• Leading mechanical and technological modification being introduced on brazing and fluxing lines
• Overseeing activities done by APU connected with brazing and fluxing
• Brazing jigs and control tools design
• Continues improvement on flux residues level

• Leading major projects, connected to brazing and fluxing, in line with existing company standards
• As brazing specialist, setting up and validation for all the brazing and fluxing parameters for the new reference to be industrialized or transferred
• Optimize capacity of brazing and fluxing lines
• To ensure that the safety and environment rules are applied for machines and processes
• As brazing specialist, support development of new product and technology on brazing and fluxing point of view
• Participation in activities resulting from company plants cooperation
