BSC – Sector Lead - Johannesburg Region
Manage sales of the company’s products and services related to BSC sector within South Africa with full P&L responsibility. For BSC Sector ensure delivery of a satisfactory after sales service for maintaining dispensers, equipment installed on loan basis, timely attendance to breakdowns and regular preventive services.
Responsibilities include:
The incumbent is inter alia responsible for the following activities:
• Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
• Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Perform sales activities on major accounts and negotiate deals.
• Manage personnel and develop sales and sales support staff. Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams for BSC sector. Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products. Coordinate proper company resources of both sales & technical support force to ensure efficient and stable sales results, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist BSC sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers. Develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
• Educate BSC sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
• Review sales expenses and recommends economies. Hold regular meetings with BSC sales team.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in the BSC Industry.
• Valid Driver’s license;
• Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing

• Understanding of hygiene and cleaning practices, equipment and products;
• Advanced business knowledge, analytical, problem solving, communication, relationship management and leadership skills.
• Ability to make calculations; prepare sales budgets and plans;
• Able to understand financial reports.
• Able to build rapport with clients and to convey concepts and information correctly;
• Able to write and prepare documents;
• Knowledge of BSC industry, suppliers and competitors
• Strong people management skills
• Experience and understanding of P&L
• Advanced Excel and PPT skills
• Must be willing to travel
