A great job opportunity has become available for a Building and Maintenance Manager to join a leading international independent real estate group in Cape Town. This world-class global organization comprised of a number of operating companies which cover the full spectrum of the property market in sub-Saharan Africa and internationally, are looking for a Building and Maintenance Manager who will be based on the Atlantic Seaboard, to act as liaison between residents and Managing Agent

Your responsibilities as the Building and Maintenance Manager job opportunity in Cape Town will include:

- Security – Monitor and report on security activity
- Cleaning – Manage the cleaners (including arranging for temporary staff to cover these duties when cleaner is absent or on leave)
- All maintenance (Attending to blocked drains, assisting when electrical faults occur, replace light bulbs, identifies and resolves water leaks if possible)
- Controls of Petty Cash float and accounting to the Managing Agent for all expenditure
- Ensures the application and enforcement of Management, Conduct and House Rules in the complex, generally and in particular with regards to: controlling furniture removals, controlling renovations and alterations, controlling use of, and access to, servants’ quarters, refuse and recycling activities
