Business Analyst/CRM Specialist

Job Description

The Business Analyst will be the key middle point between Business and IT ensuring that expectations are being met and requirements are documented. The incumbent will have the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Eliciting functional business requirements from users and sponsors.
  • Creation and communication of requirements by developing epic and user stories, business process designs (BPD) and business system designs (BSD).
  • Assist CRM team when working with developers and implementation partners to understand the designs and validate that the software solution will satisfy the business needs.
  • Responsible for creating test scripts, coordinating UAT test activities and assisting with functional testing of the CRM application.
  • Participate in the coordination and execution of on-going user training.
  • Responsible for the creation and delivery of trainer and end user documentation as newly implemented features and processes are deployed.
  • Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and data clean-up as necessary
  • Help perform data migration activities

  • Plan, document, execute and communicate results of functional application testing and/or UAT. Including writing detailed test scenarios.

  • Interest in learning about business environments, operations, process and practices.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Background/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with large packaged CRM applications (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) required
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with the native configuration and customization tools exposed from Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience working on Agile projects
  • Strong understanding of the Dynamics CRM solution from the business / functional perspective.
