MUST HAVE: Relevant experience in the Life Insurance Industry (Personal Finance Division)

• Analyses customer business needs through liaising with stakeholders to elicit, discuss, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes.
• Adopts a Fit / Gap approach to business needs discussions.
• Document requirements as well as corresponding test cases and scenarios.
• Should be familiar with UML terminology specifically relating to use-cases and activity diagrams. Experience in Enterprise Architect or similar modelling tools would be advantageous.
• The Business Analyst should have relevant Life Insurance Industry related experience.
• Possess prior Insurance application systems experience in terms of business capabilities from a usage and construction perspective.
• Application testing.
• Have prior manual and automated regression testing experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3 Years Individual Life Insurance Knowledge and experience
• Minimum 3 Years System Experience
• Minimum 3 Years Business knowledge experience
• Some sort of BA Certificate
• Experience in the IT industry and working with IT Teams

COMPETENCIES:
• Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.
• Understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements
• Understand the technical designs as well as the specifications
• Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements
• Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for information systems.
• End to end experience of the project lifecycle
• Proven experience interacting directly with end users
• Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills
