BUSINESS ANALYST MANAGER - MIDRAND
Job Description
Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the operations and activities of a Business Analyst team.
Responsibilities:
- Line Management
- Define, update and implement Business Analysis Strategy
- Manage Business Analyst; team across the enterprise
- Align Business Analyst team objectives and programmes to Enterprise objectives and strategies
- Plan and manage strategic Business Analysis initiatives
- Know and understand the procedures, practices and principles to follow during the Business Analysis phase of a product
- Know and understand customer needs and requirements
- Align Business Analysis Team with enterprise performance objectives
- Know and understand Business Analysis methodologies
- Guide team members with career development
- Recruitment
- Performance Management
- Ability to articulate and conceptualise user requirements.
- Contribute to Customer solution proposals
- Assist in transforming these requirements into a solution that can be delivered through suitable technology solutions (customised or OTS)
- Ensure solutions are being delivered within time and budget for our customers.
- Business and Systems Analysis
- Problem solving and Diagnostic work
- Understanding the business issues and data challenges of client organisation and industry
- Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Facilitating Business Design sessions and various meetings with clients
- Taking ownership to ensure new product features are delivered successfully
- Mentoring of junior business analysts
- Providing innovative solutions for product features
- Keeping abreast of industry developments in area of expertise
- Identifying and providing solutions for improvement in internal processes
- Consistently delivering high quality service to clients
- Continuously seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Education Required:
B.Eng. (Electronics) or B.Sc Computer Sciences (Hons) or B. Information Systems (Hons)
Required:
- A minimum of 10 years; experience in Business and Systems analysis and systems
- Experience in operating in a Global Specialist product(s) market
- Experience in market research and development environment

Essential Competencies:
- Having good knowledge, skill and experience in the Business Analysis process
- Having knowledge and skill in delivery management
- Having knowledge and skill in drafting product specifications
- Having knowledge and experience in developing product specifications
- Having knowledge and skill in systems engineering principles and practices
- Having knowledge and skills in applying Industry best practices
