Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.

Minimum of three years financial management experience; hotel finance and accounting experience preferred.

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of overall hotel operations and governances.

Thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting, and of financial records and transactions including, but not limited to, generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, Alosso, AccPac.

Developed accounting, finance and analytical skills including experience with cash management, forecasting, revenue management strategies, long-term capital expenditures planning and project management skills.

Job Description:

The role supports the Group Executive – Finance (direct), Director of Financial Information & Operations Analysis (dotted line) and the Group Financial Director (dotted line) in conducting the Continent’s month-end close, forecast, annual budgets, and other operational reporting cycles as well as ad hoc analysis.

The Manager assures timely and accurate handling of all financial data; accurate and timely reporting to all customers, and adheres to department goals/visions and department standards as defined. This person also partners with the Director of Financial Information & Operations Analysis to manage the reporting systems and processes for the Continent.
