Business Analyst & Project Manager

Overview:
Opportunity available for a mid to senior-level Business Analyst/Project manager to join the Operations team. The position requires a multi-skilled, motivated, success driven full-time candidate with a willingness to meet fast-paced deadlines.
This role would require the candidate to have a mix of skills from proposal writing, business analysis, writing technical scope documents and project management. The candidate must be adaptable across all skills and be willing to learn and evolve as the role matures. Will suit someone who has a business flair, excellent writing skills, and strong analytical and project management skills.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a highly skilled dynamic Operations team that supports the business in a technically exciting and challenging industry. The candidate will be a support resource to the affiliate division – focusing on projects that support the businesses expansion into Africa.
 
Requirements:
Project Management Diploma
Business Analyst experience
Experience writing technical scope documents
Exposure to the full software life cycle
Software and integrations architecture experience
Experience understanding high performance, scalable, reliable applications
Proven experience meeting deadlines
Strategic thinker and good conceptual skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Prolific English writing skills
Critical evaluation skills
Project management capability - to co-ordinate between business, technology, support teams, suppliers and clients to ensure deliverables are met timeously and effectively
Very good Excel and experience of Word and Power Point
Strong numerical and administrative skills
Ability to work independently, as well as actively contribute in team initiatives
Technical knowledge of websites/backend/CMS systems
Knowledge and understanding of mobile industry is a bonus
Knowledge and interest in mobile marketing trends is a bonus
 
Duties:
To work with the General Manager of Operations and Infrastructure and assist in day-to-day activities, contribute towards business analysis for new opportunities, product development and project management.
Carrying out background research and present findings
Producing documents, briefing papers, compiling reports and presentations
Taking on some of the manager's responsibilities and working more closely with management
Being involved in decision-making processes
Business task and workflow analysis and design
Liaise with all other departments from Development/Operations/Finance/IT/Call Centre/Compliance etc. to ensure smooth operations and project delivery of the business.
Understanding the development requirements for architecting & building integration points with external API’s and the system.
Assisting internal or external teams with mobile sites, mobile and native applications and software component development – product and technical scoping and project management.
Maintain a detailed record of technical functional requirements for new Affiliate Co Projects.
