Purpose of the Job:
• Candidate will be expected to analyze new SOA development projects (enhancements, extensions, integrations and interfaces) and provide functional and technical solutions design
• Participate in discussions with multiple system teams for integration touch points for new requirements, changes, enhancements and migrations.
• Prioritize and align the project initiatives against the ESB roadmap, understanding the technology roadmap (i.e. Oracle) and how this integrates into the future priorities.
• Work closely with the various business units BAs to plan and prioritize their requirements in line with the integrated SOA projects.
Responsible for driving deliverables e.g. business requirements, detailed & technical design document w.r.t. middleware components.

Integration Leadership
Tasks
• Drive delivery of SOA governance in alignment with the Company's ESB roadmap.
• Provide guidance on delivering robust designs keeping performance, scalability, reusability factors in focus
• Have worked extensively on Oracle middleware products: Fusion Middleware, SOA 11g, ESB, Weblogic Server 11g
• Should be well versed with service design patterns, multiple adapters, BPEL, processes, App server tuning and performance management

Functional Role
• Provide sign off on Design Documents produced by the SOA team.
• Work closely with the Portfolio managers in support of their delivery expectations and capacity need for delivery
• Provide central interface into technology partners and vendor request for resources
• Seek ways to reduce application related costs and optimise performance of applications
• Enhance and maintain policies, processes and procedures within project implementation
• Single point of contact for Oracle middleware related enhancements from IT end

Communication
Communicate at an executive level and be able to articulate and present confidently
Experience
• 4+ in a technical lead role in the systems integration competency
• Minimum of 5 years of experience w.r.t. full lifecycle /large scale application integrations.
• Delivered at least two SOA projects including at least one involving legacy systems.
• Experience with one or more Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF Frameworks, knowledge of design patterns.
• Exp in SOA implementations to address distributed service transaction requirements with knowledge of design patterns, processes and legacy systems integration
• Proficiency in application tools/languages such as: Oracle OSB 11g, Oracle ESB, Oracle SOA 11g, Oracle Weblogic Server 11g, Canonical messages, Java/JEE, JDeveloper, Eclipse, BPEL, BPM, XML, XSLT, Web services, REST, APIs, etc.
Telecommunications Industry experience is preferable.
