We are actively recruiting for a seasoned Business Analyst (Insurance) with 3-5 years of professional experience to work with our clients in the design and deployment of their business processes and systems. The ideal candidate would have an interest and business process experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Assisting in the design and deployment of their business processes and associated application systems through the following key responsibility areas
o Systematic business analysis according to the business needs of Insurance stakeholders
o Contribution to insurance division business improvement
o Supporting efficient and effective project management to ensure that the business requirement is met
• Collaborating with appropriate solution vendors and ensure that the services delivered meet business requirements and are in line with SLA’s and OLA’s.
• Being accountable for developing and maintaining business process design, functional requirements and solution architecture documentation for proposed new processes and systems and driving the use of architectural standards in these new systems.
• Being accountable for defining and enforcing architectural standards in Insurance application development and implementation.
• Being accountable for the continuous improvement of the Insurance IT Applications and Architecture so that these are both efficient and stable.
Candidates are required to have the following Skills and Experience:
• Insurance / Banking / Home Loans industry experience in a wide range of technologies
• Experience with ERP systems and/or custom software development
• A degree/diploma in Business Science or Computer Science or similar appropriate field
• A knowledge of a Software Development Lifecycle as well as system specification and selection
• Have project and people management skills
• Be self motivated and articulate (both written and verbal)
• Be a team player willing to support other team members when required
• Have appropriate levels of personal computer proficiency
