The Business Analyst  will be primarily accountable for the preparation of requirements, content specifications, user interface specifications, business processes use cases, and management of technical delivery according to the project plan and defect lists during the project lifecycle.

Requirements include:

• having a broad skill set to fulfil a number of crucial roles to ensure successful delivery of quality functionality and a consistent and reliable  services
• analysing the business objectives of the product owner and customers, and developing solutions to their business issues
• analysing and defining business and high level systems processes
• translating business requirements to system/functional requirements for the application architect and developers
• identifying and drafting Charter, Requirement and other project documents as required
• assisting with the preparation of test plans and test cases
• managing the quality of delivery by ensuring that the delivered functionality meets the requirements and that the testing has been completed satisfactorily
• managing the issue log and overseeing the successful escalation and assignment of issues related to business requirements delivery
• status reporting to the internal product owner and steering committees when required
• chairing of various meetings such as cross-functional team meetings
• managing multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time across multiple customers

Other requirements include:

• evaluating information gathered through workshops, task analysis, and business process description
• having strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a good understanding of the needs of the customers
• being able to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver GUI, interface and screen designs
• preparing use cases and prototype mock-ups for new services and enhancements
• being an interface between technology teams, support teams, operations and business units
• maintaining user documentation and training materials
• performing customer training for new releases and “train the trainer” as required

Qualifications
A strong team player who possesses:

• a relevant IT or business bachelor’s degree
• 2-3 years' experience in a business analyst or comparable role
• knowledge in use cases definition and practice of structured methodologies
• strong inter-personal, presentation and problem-solving skills
• exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
• ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and manage the project plan
• the ability to be results-oriented, a continuous learner and flexible
• be a self-starter and requiring minimal supervision
