Overview
The main purpose of this position is to liaise with Clients in order to gather Change- and- New-Feature Requirements for large financial systems; requirements are analysed, prioritised and communicated to Software Engineers in order to meet Client expectations.
The individual will also have to understand the intended outcome of specific business processes within the system in order to write, maintain, execute and report on Manual and Automated Test Case Scenarios which include Unit Testing, Regression Testing and intermittent Load Testing.
This individual will report to the Department Manager and will be expected to document Client Requirements as well as Test Case Scenario Outcomes and report back with these findings. Good interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute necessity; this individual should also be able to prioritise his / her workload and be able to function well under pressure.
This role requires working with financial transactions and large amounts of data and as such the perfect candidate should be comfortable with calculations and should be naturally inclined towards balancing and working with financial data.

Skills / Requirements
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a Business Analysis / Testing / Quality Assurance environment
Insurance Industry exposure would be advantageous
- Experience in Requirements Gathering and the Documentation thereof
- Experience in using Manual / Automated software methodologies
- Exposure to SQL, N-tier and C#(.NET) architectural frameworks advantageous
- Good Documentation skills

Responsibilities
- Analyse and Document Client Requirements
- Prioritise Client Requirements and communicate expectations to the Software Engineers
- Analyse and Document Test requirements by liaising with Software Engineers
- Develop Test Cases and maintain baseline of expected and acceptable outcomes for test cases
- Run variety of Unit, Regression and (intermittent) Load Test scenarios
- Compose weekly and monthly reports with results from development efforts that relate to Client Requirements as well as outcomes of Executed Test Cases
