Our client is a leading South African Investment company. This is a dynamic, driven, highly competitive environment that attracts the best of the best. They are looking for a Business Analyst whose focus will be on the analysis of business processes and the development of software requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will ensure that business processes are optimised and at the same time that new software is developed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with our business to define and analyse business requirements and problems across business departments
• Define test scenarios
• Analyse integration and system requirements
• Collaborate with business to design and document process and system solutions to be developed
• Collaborate with business to define success metrics to be able to measure the success of the delivery of the requirement
• Work with the developers to ensure the understanding of the requirements
• Work with testers and business to ensure that the test cases are complete
• Work with training to ensure that the delivered functionality is clearly communicated to the business
• Get involved in release activities which may involve testing and availability on some weekends when releases go live
• Assist with the analysis of production defects as needed. This will involve analysis of the cause of the defects raised, as well as the actions required to correct the problem and prevent the problem from re-occurring.
• To communicate any changes to systems and/or processes to all affected parties with a sufficient level of detail and explanation.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Information Systems, Software Development, Systems/Data Analysis, B.Com, B.Bus Science, BA Diploma)
• 3 years' experience in a Business Analysis role
• 3 years' experience in Financial Services sector

Highly advantageous will be BPM experience. Advantageous will be SWL Skills and IT knowledge.
