Business Skills and Methods:

Business cases, business process and strategic planning.
Contribute to system designs, test plans, training of users and implementation plans of applications from an application architectural perspective
Knowledge in Oracle 1Og database or higher with PL/SQL
Development tools not limited to Toad I Developer Studio / SQL Developer

Object Orientated Design

Quality assures application projects before implementation.
Ensure that system standards are reviewed in terms of development platforms, development tools and development languages.
Guide, review and recommend application architecture design and system integration.

Document writing, specifically:

Co-ordinate and manage the analysis of business needs, User Requirement Specifications, Functional Design Specifications and User Manuals.


SCOPE OF SERVICE
Analysis and design of Health solutions determined as a result of communication with the client at multi levels, both management and line staff;
Documentation of User Requirement Specifications, Functional Design Specifications, Database Design Documents and User Manuals;
Project Management pursuant to the implementation of software solutions;
Quality assurance of the products acquired or developed in response to the User Requirement This includes Application Testing to ensure that the application meets the requirement and is of suitable form fit and function;
Liaise with vendors and third party contractors as required by Health;
Liaise with clients, providing technical assistance and direction to sub-ordinates;
Provide training and skills transfer to permanent and contract staff as required;
Database modeling and analysis of data using organisation standard tools; and
Perform Technical Assessments of proposed third party and in-house software
Conduct interviews with key role-players within the departments to further understand their business processes, needs and challenges.
Develop business process models as required per project
Ensure effective communication with the business e. making sure the business understands what is required from them for the success of the project.
