Purpose:

This position involves a broad scope of business development as well as service delivery consultation and tasks. The main objective of the role is to collaborate various activities and tasks that arise between the two departments as directed by the Business Development Manager. The Business Development consultant has to holistically coordinate Stowe’s customer engagements within customer accounts, from basic interactions to escalation handling, reporting and service improvement initiatives

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Business Development

• Support Business Development with coordination and research with regards to customer requirements and report writing
• Administrative follow through on proposals, scope of work documentation and quotations.
• Administrative assistance in defining internal procedure documentation and handover to operational teams within Stowe.
• Assist with developing presentations for clients.
• Communication to and input in quotations & proposals.

Service Delivery Consultation

• Provide service delivery assistance to non – corporate / dealer market customers
• Maintain regular interaction with customers with the goal to build and retain relationships
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Provide an escalation-path for customers
• Act as mediator between stakeholders where inefficiencies hinder optimal service-delivery
• Positively encourage a customer-service focus throughout the company
• Maintenance and ownership of Customer Maintenance lists and the distribution thereof to respective departments within Stowe.
• Drive development and implementation of services where little precedence exist


Administration

• Assist with Follow ups on open quotes and proposals for dealer-owned sites, and provide feedback for administrative purposes.
• Record keeping of all customer specific administration in the form of proposals, presentations, contact details etc.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• Computer Literate: Word, Excel, Internet and E-mail
• Industry Knowledge
• Experience within the fuel industry will be beneficial
• Proven computer literacy
• Valid South African ID
• Driver’s license
• Own transport and ability to Travel
• Project management skills would be beneficial
• Good product knowledge
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Above average listening skills to ensure customer’s needs are understood and translated to internal stakeholders within Stowe.
