Position: Business Development Consultant
Based in: Morningside-Durban

Minimum requirements:
-Matric
-Completed relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
-At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
-Computer literate
-Valid driver’s license and own transport
-Must be motivated, peoples person
-Good speaking voice


Duties:
-Develop new accounts and service existing clients
-Sell communication skills courses
-Respond to company queries
-Develop a master client list
-Schedule training dates for clients
-Liaise with facilitators regarding client training needs/information
-Use best endeavours to achieve the proposed sales targets
-Ensure a twenty-four hour turnaround time for proposals
-Arrange consultations and assessments
-Answer product related questions and other queries via e-mail, telephone, answering machine or fax
-Conduct in-house assessments & follow-ups
-Prepare proposals for individual candidates and companies
-Keep accurate sales records as required
-Visit the required clients (ideally 4 – 6 corporate clients) each day
-Create a positive image at all times with staff and clients
