Job function:
To lead, integrate and align the Business Development, Sales, Solutions and Continuous Improvement teams to actively drive business growth through new client sales, cross-selling of current Managed Solutions services to existing clients and collaboration with other Company businesses to collectively enhance the service offering.

Key performance areas:

• Process and Governance
? Aggressively drive revenue growth through new business conversion against an agreed annual target
? Define and implement a strategy, operating model and policies for a value chain function in the context of the organisational, strategy and
operating model
? Facilitate the sales process for applicable clients
? Supply guidance during conceptual solution building design, development and finalisation stage
? Develop and execute a market and service strategy, informed by an extensive analysis of relevant business intelligence, including industry
solutions as per strategy
? Manage standardisation (Pipeline processes, CRM, Governance, Reporting)
? Identify, form and nurture strategic partnerships that enable or improve service offerings
? Drive Solutions and Continuous Improvement team to establish and develop formal CI programmes for identified clients to ensure existing
client retention and/or CI gainshare

• Finance
? Provide guidance when formulating commercial considerations during tender and/or quoting processes
? Achieve new business growth targets across all business units within the Managed Solutions SA business

• Client/ Customer
? Align and integrate a value chain function with internal & external client requirements as well as market trends and other business
intelligence
? Analyse client and other business intelligence to optimise service delivery to internal / external clients /customers
? Strategic Account Action Plans (SAAP): Establish and support process and drive through the account owners

• People
? Improve levels of employee satisfaction, leadership development and staff retention
? Embrace and manage all aspects of diversity BEE
? Support and empower people that design and implement change within a value chain function o Align people's performance goals to support
the achievement of a value chain function strategy
? Fill approved positions in compliance with the Recruitment practice
? Manage talent and succession

Qualifications required:
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Advanced Diploma
• SAPICS – CSCP or CPIM certification would be an advantage

Skills and experience required:
• Solid experience in industry
• Budgeting and cost management
• Business development
• Commercial and industry knowledge
