Responsibilities/ Duties:

1. Deliver the overall sales growth in accordance with targets included in the sales business plan for Distribution. Build a high level of brand awareness and reputation as first line contact to our clients.

2. Develop and prepare a sales action plan and forecast to increase market share and deliver the growth strategy for Distribution, taking cognisance of opportunities and market conditions.

3. Identifying market opportunities and Hi Potential clients / prospects while developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve new business sales targets and results.

4. Grow current business and maintain strong client relationships.

5. Ensure through partnership with cross functional and specialisation teams, the creation of transport and logistics solutions to meet customer needs in Distribution.

6. Provide and enhance business intelligence through the establishment and development of a network with potential and existing customers or key accounts.

7. Increase confidence in the reputation of the business in respect of any and all stakeholders while driving brand awareness and loyalty especially within the target market.

8. Develop and establish relationships with internal teams such as operations and through these partnerships ensure seamless and quality service to the client.

9. Act as a point of control of all data and information of the sales and servicing cycle through the maintenance of the CRM system and functionality.

10. Ensure that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with current legal and company specific regulations.
