Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Manage region as profit centre – enhancing production and decreasing member resignations to ensure subsequent net growth per product silo
Ensure recruitment, selection and retention of high performing staff in the roles that you manage
Ongoing management of Broker Solution Consultant (BSC) and Corporate Development Consultants (CDC) and service anchor/s including day-to-day management, performance management and route planning
Provide input into strategy development and actively manage and implement business strategy
Increase product foot print across all products
Implement and manage production-related sales and retention strategies
Responsible for overseeing all processes related to business development, retention and sales across product categories in designated regions
Actively assist BSC’s with Broker Categorisation per Product Group, Business Placement and Potential New Business
Assist CDC’s with new business development, client retention and cross-selling of various product categories
Strategically manage relationships with existing and new employer groups, including production through cross-selling, organic growth and new business opportunities
Strategically manage relationships with Ultimate and Optimum brokers for continuous new business submission and client retention
Implementation and training of aggressive selling techniques & relationship management
Identification of new brokers while continuously expanding broker network
Assisting brokers & BSC’s in designing a solution that will grow broker’s business
Identify broker potential and mine current Schemes’ members database
Specific targeting of value added products
Introduction of new products
Identify opportunities within brokerages by means of categorising client base across all product categories, with an additional focus on short-term and long-term insurance client opportunities
Implement business development and retention campaigns within broker and employer markets with quantifiable outcome measurement
Hands-on management of all processes within your portfolio
Requirements:

RE 5
RE 1
Matric/Grade 12
Marketing and sales degree or related tertiary qualification
Min 5 years sales experience in a senior managerial level in Healthcare or financial services sectors.
Min 2 years’ customer service experience in a Healthcare and financial services sectors.
Min 5 years’ experience in a medical schemes environment.
Proven sales and sales management track record
Other:

Willing and able to travel extensively, including overnight trips
Own reliable vehicle which maintains the desired professional company image
Highly professional, polished appearance
Salary: Market Related
