Business development Manager (Furniture) – Durban

Knowledge of office furniture products is essential.

Salary – High basic with no commission

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, enthusiastic person with good people skills and product knowledge. The applicant must be well presented and have good communication skills.

• Applicants must have intermediate computer skills i.e. Outlook Express, Excel and Word.
• Applicants must have the necessary skills to prepare quotes.
• Applicants must have the ability to negotiate at corporate level and be able to cold canvass when necessary.
• Maintain and grow portfolio.
• Firm understanding and read of Cad drawings.
• Grow relationships with Architectural, interior designer and Development firms.
• Knowledge of computer, stationery, scholastic/educational supplies would be advantageous.
• Candidates should display an understanding of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE)
• Previous experience in a sales and marketing environment and a sales qualification would be an advantage.
• A valid code 08 Drivers licence and a reliable car is essential.
• Knowledge of the Durban and surrounding area, including schools and businesses is essential.
