Business Development Manager (Talent / HR Solutions)

Our client is currently embarking on a period of significant growth of their HR Solutions & Talent Assessment capability and as such, they have a Business Development Manager vacancy they are looking to fill.

In this role, you will be tasked with actively hunting for new accounts and generating new business revenue, building a strong portfolio of Enterprise segment prospects, driving revenue growth and new sales for the HR/Talent related solutions.

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:
• A degree or diploma - preferably in sales, marketing or business management is essential
• Ideally you will have good knowledge of and sales experience preferably within the HR / Assessments / Training / Talent Solutions sectors, or related (at least 4-5 years).
• 5 - 7 years experience of having achieved sales increases or new business growth / development
• Strong sales management skills with thorough knowledge of the sales process and strategic techniques to achieve objectives
• Proven record in closing deals with major accounts and ability to interact and build relations at senior board level positions.
• Possess high level of communication and presentation skills.
• Must have the ability to prepare a business plan outlining the salient points of development with specific customers.
• Must be able to identify and develop relationships with prospect clients across South Africa
• Must be prepared to travel as and when needed

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• To identify, develop and recommend new business initiatives which will ensure growth of Company across South Africa
• You will target top executives of potential client companies, identify sales opportunities, build and present solutions, and drive the pivotal moment where leads become sales, reaping the rewards of negotiating contracts to a successful close.
• To provide smart talent / human capital solutions: Sell highly advanced talent management solutions that enable companies to transform their organisations by better selecting, assessing, and developing their employees
• Drive Revenue Growth by managing the end-to-end sales cycle, presenting client-led solutions and closing deals in order to achieve revenue and growth goals.
• Become a Solutions Expert: Collaborate with internal consulting teams to expertly provide knowledge and support to companies, whilst becoming their go-to resource and primary point of contact.
