• Identifying key targets in Africa and setting out a business plan to secure business, this should be in line with the overall company strategy,
• Locate or proposes potential business deals by contracting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities,
• Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirement, potential, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, recommending equity investments,
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating partners’ needs and goals,
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations,
• Setting out a plan for structured visits in Africa and reporting monthly work undertaken in Africa,
• Liaison with Marketing to extend initiatives into Africa,
• Generations of leads for licensed applicators/distributors in Africa,
• Ongoing liaison with Technical team in order to understand new products and existing technology,
• Updates job knowledge by reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organisations,
• Leverage on relationships in Africa, i.e. Major Construction Companies, to identify opportunities in local market.
• Maintain professional etiquette and representation in the market.
